How to apply for Federal Student Aid
- Complete your application for admission to BHCLR and submit all required documentation to the Admissions Office.
- Visit studentaid.gov and sign in using your FSA ID. If you don’t have an FSA ID, create one. It’s a username and password that allows you to sign your FAFSA electronically.
- Complete the FAFSA at studentaid.gov. Be sure to apply for the correct academic year. (For example: If you are enrolling in the Spring 2026, you need to complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA. If you are enrolling in the Fall 2026, you need to complete the 2026-2027 FAFSA).
- You will need your most recent income tax return, or use the IRS data retrieval tool in order to provide accurate income information.
- If you are a dependent student, your parent(s) will also need to create their own FSA ID. They will be required to provide their tax and income information as well.
- Include BHCLR’s school code, which is 031052.
- The BHCLR Financial Aid Office may request additional documents needed to complete the financial aid application process. Respond to document requests you receive on NetPartner and in your email. Most files can be awarded within four weeks of receiving requested documents.
- Once accepted as a BHCLR student, the Financial Aid Office will send award notifications to eligible students. You can log into your NetPartner account to review and accept any aid that you choose to at that point.
