Baptist Health College Little Rock Radiography Students Achieve 100% Board Pass Rate
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health College Little Rock (BHCLR) School of Radiography students passed their national certification exam administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with a 100% pass rate. The graduating class of 12 passed their exam on the first attempt.
The ARRT certification examination recognizes practitioners who are qualified to perform the role of a radiographer. Passing this certification exam is required for professionals in medical imaging. These graduates may also work in advanced modalities within a radiology department, such as computed tomography (CT), interventional radiology (IR), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), etc. Employers, state licensing agencies and federal regulators require an ARRT credential to prove professionals have met rigorous standards and are committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Suzy Bullard, MHA, RT(R) (ARRT), School of Radiography program director, is proud of her students and their accomplishment.
“We are incredibly proud of our students for achieving a 100% pass rate on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam,” Bullard said. “This accomplishment is a testament to their hard work, dedication and the exceptional quality of our radiography program. Our faculty and staff remain committed to providing the highest standard of education and training, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared for successful careers in radiologic technology.”
Joel Hicks, EdD, RT(R), president of BHCLR, is proud of the next generation of leaders in health care and the way they will shape the health of Arkansans.
“We are thrilled to announce that our students have achieved outstanding board pass rates, reflecting their commitment and the excellence of our academic programs,” Hicks said. “This success underscores our role in preparing future health care professionals who will contribute significantly to health care in Arkansas. Their achievements ensure that our graduates are ready to provide high-quality care and meet the evolving needs of our communities.”
BHCLR students are joining more than 330,000 technologists holding ARRT credentials in the U.S.. For more information about the exam, contact Suzy Bullard at suzy.bullard@baptist-health.org or at (501) 202-7468.
