Baptist Health College Little Rock Programs Granted Eligibility for Arkansas Future Grant
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. –Baptist Health College (BHCLR) Patient Care Technician, Practical Nursing, Traditional Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiography and Surgical Technology programs were recently granted eligibility for the Arkansas Future Grant. This grant is for qualified recipients to use for tuition and fees at eligible colleges and universities in Arkansas.
The Arkansas Future Grant is the newest state grant with efforts to affordably increase the education and skills of the workforce. The grant applies to students enrolled in science, technology, engineering, math or regional high-demand areas of study. It will cover tuition and fees for qualifying certificate and associate degree programs and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Receiving eligibility will open the door for students to use this grant to fully pay for their education at BHCLR.
Christy Garrett-Jones, financial aid director, believes receiving eligibility for this grant will continue to support Arkansas in ending the shortage of health care workers and help students pursue their life-changing careers.
“Securing eligibility for this grant emphasizes our commitment to supporting students in their pursuit of education, helping to ensure financial barriers do not hinder their dreams,” Garrett-Jones said.
